Te Kete Aronui is a kete (basket) of knowledge. It relates to knowledge acquired through careful observation of the environment. For EOTC we encourage our leaners to explore the outdoors through various ways but to also look after it for future generations.

What's on offer

Year 10 Camps and Day Trips at the end of the year allow learners to explore the region by taking part in various camps/trips. Some examples include Mountain Biking at Hamner, Tramping around the Port Hills, Surfing at Sumner, Sailing, Fishing to name just a few. Many classes also include field trips such as Orana Park Visits, Rock Climbing & Mountain Biking.

Whānau Leadership Camps enable leadership teams from Years 10-13 to plan and set goals for the coming year.
