Kotahitanga is what every team at Rolleston College - Horoeka Haemata stands by, both on and off the field. Kotahitanga is the concept of togetherness. The importance to lift each other up. To be one as group and team.

Rolleston College offers sporting programmes as an extracurricular activity for students to promote Health and Wellbeing, new sporting opportunities for learners, to create sporting memories with their peers and the ability to compete in high performance tournaments. In playing sport for Rolleston college our learners are expected to be playing with our school spirit of Building Communities, Develop Self and Transform Futures.

Our Rolleston Spirit provides our learners valuable lessons in working with peers and the community to achieve a common goal. Sustaining a commitment and being able to accept disappointment but also have the opportunity to show leadership will help transform futures. We believe sport helps our learners to develop new skills, confidence, courage, self discipline and self respect
