Recycling a can saves enough energy to power a laptop for five hours!

We are trialling a new initiative to collect cans at Rolleston College to be recycled. Aluminium from drink cans can be recycled infinitely without any degradation in quality. 

We ask that you fully empty your can (pour any residue out completely outside) before depositing your cans in the bin, located in the science lab (1SC1) at Te Kura Tuatahi.

Note: No paper, no bottles, no glass and no other rubbish is to be put into this bin – it's only for cans.
