School bus information

Rolleston College bus routes will change on Monday 23 March 2026.

The updated routes are below, including a new route specifically for year 12 and 13 learners living in West Rolleston.

New timetables will be available before the end of week six (Friday 13 March 2026).

All learners who catch the school buses have been contacted. If you did receive the email, or believe your learner is eligible for a school bus based on your address, please contact our bus controller at bus@rollestoncollege.nz.

The Ministry of Education maps our school bus routes using set guidelines including numbers of learners in an area. If the bus does not come near your house, you can find the guidelines on how to apply for School Transport Assistance on the Ministry of Education website. It also has an explanation of how far you may be expected to travel to your nearest bus route. These routes are subject to change at any stage that the Ministry of Education feels necessary.

The stop information, maps and timetables below are for the current bus routes.

School will continue to start at 9:15am on Wednesdays this year. The bus timetable runs 20 minutes later each Wednesday to account for the later start.
