Relief teachers

We are seeking passionate, innovative teachers who have a desire to provide genuine learner-centered education. Arts coordinator
(Part time—up to 20 hours per week, permanent position)

We are currently seeking applications for a dynamic and motivated person to support our growing arts community—both inside and outside of the college. Our successful candidate will embrace all areas of the arts in this supporting role that assists the arts faculty staff. Read the job description.

Teacher of performing arts
(Full time, permanent position)

We are currently seeking applications for a highly motivated kaiako in the field of performing arts, with specialist experience in music and drama. We are looking for people who have a learner-centered focus, be open to new ideas and innovation and be excited about working in a collaborative, flexible and responsive learning environment. Please state all supporting subjects on your application. 

Developing self, building communities and transforming futures through the Rolleston Spirit, is at the heart of everything we do at our college. We are looking for a kaiako who is passionate about both academic and personal success, be able to cultivate a learning community and have a desire to provide a genuine learner-centred education. 

At Rolleston College, we work to provide contextual learning opportunities that provide our learners with choice and agency, while still gaining the necessary skills, knowledge and qualifications. Collaborative practice is fundamental to our curriculum and philosophy as educators.

As a restorative practice school we believe strongly in building and enhancing positive professional relationships with our learners. All teachers are expected to be involved in our whānau system and are active in providing mentoring and academic counselling to students in a warm and demanding way.

This position starts on Tuesday 28 January 2025.
