Our EPro8 ALPHA team – Indigo Cooper-Maclean, Damian du Toit, Johnny Herd, and Leo Hopkins – placed second in the first round of the year 9/10 competition, qualifying them to the grand final!

Heading to the grand final recently, this team did exceptionally well to stay in the top three for a large proportion of the competition. Outstanding mahi!

We took a second, newly-formed GAMMA team (Jonathan Broad, Ashby Cantem, Tharul Rathnayakege Don, and Kabir Saluja) to the final and they remained competitive, despite being completely new to the challenges.

EPro8 is an interschool science and engineering competition, with over 35,000 students from across the motu taking part each year. We are incredibly proud of our learners who competed!
