
In July, year 12 learner Lincoln Mumuta placed second at the Canterbury regional round of Tauvaga Tautalaga i le Gagana Samoa, qualifying to speak at the national event in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland last week (Wednesday 22 August).
Lincoln performed again with outstanding results, placing second in the national year 12/level 2 competition!

Lincoln aims to become a lawyer, and credits his grandmother and whāngai father with their guidance and motivation to enter the speech competition.
