Uniform refresh: coming in 2026

We’re excited to introduce a refreshed uniform that gives our learners more choice, enhanced comfort, and a stronger sense of identity, reflecting who we are as we step confidently into the future as a two-campus school. The tidy wearing of the Rolleston College Horoeka Haemata uniform is a compulsory aspect of school attendance.

As part of the uniform refresh, we no longer have a junior and senior uniform. We have designed one uniform to create unity across both campuses. Year 9s are encouraged to buy the refreshed uniform items they feel most comfortable in. Year 11 learners will also need to purchase refreshed uniform items.

Year 10, 12 and 13 learners can continue to wear their current uniform items during 2026, but also may choose to buy some refreshed items. They can wear a combination of refreshed and current items as we move towards all learners wearing the same uniform in 2027.

Refreshed uniform items will be available for purchase from NZ Uniforms from Monday 1 December 2025.

Please see the timeline below for further details.

    Uniform guidelines

Learners are expected to take pride in the presentation of their uniform. Correct uniform is expected in the following contexts:

    • School uniform should be worn when traveling between home and school, while at school and when representing the college at functions away from school.

    • Learners will be checked regularly for correct and full uniform.

    • If any part of the uniform cannot be worn correctly, a note explaining the matter should be given to the whānau leadership, and a replacement uniform may be issued on the day concerned.

    • Any exceptions should be discussed with whānau leaders.

    • We encourage all uniform items to be clearly named so they can be easily returned if misplaced.

The uniform can be purchased online from NZ Uniforms or in store at 455 Blenheim Road, Sockburn.
