At the International Track Meet at Ngā Puna Wai in Christchurch, part of Athletics New Zealand's Summer Circuit, several Rolleston College athletes turned in great results representing the school and Selwyn Athletic Club.
Zoe Hooper ran in the 60m, clocking a wind-assisted 8.32s, and later in the 100m, racing girls and women up to 29 years old, turned in a 13.26s for third place in the C race.
She joined the Rolleston College girls' 4x100m, along with Eden Innes, Sophie Mercer and Sophie Warren later in the day, who blitzed the other secondary schools teams and won gold with a 49.91s.
Luke Angland ran in the open C 800m, also against a range of ages, finishing eighth in 2:06.93, a hair outside his PB.
He also featured in the 4x100m relay, joining Jacob Barlow, Eli Craig and Judah Lodoviko, finishing fourth.
Our Kōanga Ako Leader, Miss Kelsey Berryman, also leaped out to 6.06m in the women's long jump, taking bronze and a season's best performance!
