Stage three of works on the Levi/Lowes/Masefield/Lincoln Rolleston intersection upgrade started on Monday 24 March. This will see Masefield Drive closed from the intersection to around 51 Masefield Drive, this is to allow the upgrades of the Masefield Drive end of the intersection.

We have planned a super weekend at the intersection to help us cut three weeks off of our programme.

In summary, we will be closing the Levi Road, Lowes Road, Masefield Drive, and Lincoln Rolleston Road intersection for 60 hours between 6pm on Friday 4 April to 5am on Monday 7 April. Masefield Drive and Lincoln Rolleston Road will close slightly early at 6pm on Thursday 3 April.

Between 6pm on Thursday 3 April and 6pm on Friday 4 April, Levi Road and Lowes Road will be transitioning between one way southwest bound and northeast bound to aid traffic coming to and from Christchurch.

• From 6pm on Thursday 3 April, Levi Road and Lowes Road will be one way through the intersection into Rolleston (southwest bound).
• From 5am on Friday 4 April, Levi Road and Lowes Road will be one way through the intersection towards Christchurch (northeast bound).
• From 2pm on Friday 4 April, Levi Road and Lowes Road will be one way through the intersection into Rolleston (southwest bound).
• From 6pm on Friday 4 April, the intersection will close completely.
