As we approach week 7, it's wonderful to see our students settling into their learning and daily life at school.

We continuously monitor pastoral data to better support our students, and recent trends indicate a spike in phone usage over the past two weeks.

We understand that the beginning of the year can come with an adjustment period. However, Rolleston College upholds a strict phones away for the day policy for all students during school hours.

This rule applies not only during class time but also during breaks and on school trips. For instance, next week’s year 9 camp will enforce the phones away rule as well.
