Uniform guidelines

Uniform is an integral part of who we are as a college. It is part of our identity of who we are as a school and in our community. It builds a sense of belonging and learners are expected to take pride in the presentation of their uniform.

Correct uniform is expected in the following contexts:

  • School uniform should be worn when traveling between home and school, while at school and when representing the college at functions away from school.

  • Learners who compete at interschool competitions and or matches.

Learners are checked regularly for correct and full uniform. If any part of the uniform cannot be worn correctly, a note explaining the matter should be given to whānau leadership, and a replacement uniform may be issued on the day concerned.

Any exceptions should be discussed with your whānau leader.

Hoodies, puffer jackets, sports team uniforms are not part of our college uniform and must not be worn during the school day.

We have many warm options for winter weather. You can add to this with thermals. We encourage you to purchase online from NZ Uniforms or in store at 455 Blenheim Road, Sockburn.
