On Thursday 21 March, six of our female year 13 leaders attended the Thrive for Life ChangeMaker Leadership Development conference at Avonside Girls' High School.

The day was filled with incredible and empowering speakers who gave us their wisdom on being a female in leadership in modern society. We were encouraged to step out of our comfort zones and embrace our leadership roles. There were many networking activities throughout the day that allowed us to meet and have great conversations with students from other schools across Canterbury. We all left the day feeling empowered, inspired and proud to be a female in leadership.
