Te kete tuatea is one of the three kete of knowledge in te ao Māori. It refers to the experience we have of connections with one another and with the past, knowledge of spiritual realities.
We relate this to our cultural kete as this is where learners can connect with their peers, their culture, their past and traditions or learn about new ones.
At Rolleston College Horoeka Haemata we celebrate and embrace the many cultures that make up our community. Some of the cultural highlights at our kura include whānau evenings, Matariki celebrations, Pasifika evenings, International Day, Te wiki o te reo Māori and Pacific Language Weeks.
