Last week, the level 2 geography and level 3 tourism classes went on a field trip to Aoraki Mount Cook National Park. The learners measured vegetation on the Red Tarns track, saw lots of glacial features on the Blue Lakes walk, and saw beautiful Aoraki on the Hooker Valley walk. We also had some great chats with Department of Conservation people around tourism and features. Although the weather was very cold and pretty wet, the learners persevered with nothing but smiles!
