Selwyn District Council notified us that their interim speed management plan has been certified by Waka Kotahi. The speed limits will come into effect once signage is installed.

The speed limit around Rolleston College and Clearview Primary School will be reduced to 30km/h from 8:30am to 9am and 2:45pm to 3:15pm. The council is aware that we finish earlier on Wednesdays and are working on a solution for signage to reflect this.

To inform drivers of the speed reduction, electronic flashing signs will activate on

• Springston Rolleston Road,
• Broadlands Drive, and
• Goulds Road.

There will also be permanent static signs advising the timings of the 30km/h speed reduction on Broadlands Drive (east of the roundabout).
