Our WANA class recently completed a module on recycling and this culminated with a trip to Pines Recovery Resource Park in Rolleston.

We learnt about the life cycle of materials, enjoyed a tour around the centre where we saw remote controlled machines crushing the metal recycling, and spotted recycling and wasted resources that were unfortunately going to landfill. A great reminder to separate your recycling properly!Following the excursion, we visited the ReDiscover Hub and made beeswax wraps to take home.
