Rolleston College is divided into zones (see below) that our staff take duty slots on during each break. This ensures our college is covered and has a staff presence.

We also have senior learner duty monitors whose presence has made a positive impact.

There are areas which are out of bounds during the school day—which are shown on our duty maps—that staff follow.

Out of bounds areas include bike sheds, car parks (including inside personal cars), the main roads surrounding the college, the grass area close to the Selwyn Aquatic Centre, the bus stop on Broadlands Drive, and upstairs during breaks.

We are grateful to our staff and senior learners for their duty and care each day.
