School diary deep dive: week three

We've recently been featuring the many purposes and benefits of our school diary.

As well as information about our learning culture and kaupapa, the Rolleston Spirit, and E Tū Tāngata, our diary includes everything a learner needs to know about the Growth and Graduate kete, along with learner self-reflection rubrics, maps, hauora information (such as counselling and health services), term dates, our daily timetable and space to include their six-day timetable, our cultural narrative, kupu for our haka, karakia and waiata, and more.

Next week's focus is on the family and friends team. By understanding that positive family and friends teams share feedback honestly, are optimistic and hopeful for their futures, and enjoy achieving things together, your challenge is to enthusiastically contribute and participate too.

Positive interactions with family and friends ties in with the Rolleston Spirit, our E Tū Tāngata values, and our goal of encouraging learners to be well-rounded, self-aware and socially responsible. We encourage whānau to be actively engaged with their learners' self-development, and our school diary is an excellent tool for this.
