All learners need to achieve a 20-credit co-requisite in Literacy and Numeracy as part of their NCEA qualification.
They can gain this through:
September CAA Exams
From Monday 1 to Wednesday 3 September, Rolleston College will be running another round of the common assessment activities (CAA) for Literacy and Numeracy.
This is an opportunity for all of our year 10 students to gain the important co-requisite qualifications needed for NCEA.
To support year 10 learners, they will study offsite from Monday to Wednesday and come in when their exam is scheduled.
Learners in other year levels will receive an email if they have also been identified as sitting one or more of the CAA exams. If your young person is involved, they’ll be supported with preparation time and resources at school to help them feel ready and confident.
Communication is sent directly to learners and their whānau if they are sitting the September exams.
If you have any questions or would like to kōrero about how we can support your child, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
