Join us for Passport to Ōtautahi from 11am to 4pm on Saturday 13 September, at the Multicultural Recreation and Community Centre at 455 Hagley Avenue in Christchurch.
The event is a collaborative project by Asia Family Services trust, Kia Ora Academy, the Multicultural Recreation and Community Centre Charitable Trust, Welcoming Communities and Council staff working with Pacific and ethnic communities.
It’s a mix of a fun day out – with music, performances, games, and food – and an expo showcasing services and opportunities for newcomers to Christchurch.
The event will include approximately 31 stalls featuring everything from health providers and council teams to language schools and community groups. It’s a great chance to connect, learn, and enjoy.
There’ll be plenty of fun for families and friends, plus a lucky draw with some amazing prizes! We’ve gathered vouchers for popular attractions like the gondola, tram, punting on the Avon, Uprising, Ninja Valley, He Puna Taimoana (New Brighton hot pools), restaurants, and more.
