This year, our incredible learners are once again stepping up to make a global impact by participating in the World Vision 40 Hour Challenge. We are incredibly proud of their dedication, but they need your help to reach their fundraising goals!
Head to the fundraising site here.
Every year, the 40 Hour Challenge unites young people across New Zealand to stand with children in some of the world's most vulnerable communities. By giving up something important to them for 40 hours – whether that is technology, speaking, their bed, or going entirely device-free – our learners are raising critical funds to fight poverty and provide essential resources like clean water, food, and education.
Here is how you can get involved:
Sponsor a student: If you know a student participating, ask them for their direct fundraising link and pledge a donation.
Donate to the school team: You can make a general donation directly to the Rolleston College team page on the World Vision website (linked above) to help boost our collective total.
Spread the word: Share our fundraising efforts with friends, family, and the wider Rolleston community on social media.
Cheer them on: Encourage our participating learners! Forty hours is a long time, and your moral support means the world to them.
Even the smallest donation can create a ripple effect of massive change. The funds raised by Rolleston College this year will go directly toward helping communities build a brighter, more sustainable future.
Let’s rally behind our learners and show them the power of our community. Thank you for your continued generosity and support!
