Ellsemere Art and Craft Hub is excited to be holding origami workshops at the Lincoln Event Centre, at Selwyn CultureFest on Sunday 13 September 2026. As we are now a Children’s University Learning Destination, students can earn passport hours by participating in our workshops.

Each session is 1.5 hours long, and every session has a different origami theme, so students can learn and create something new each time.

We are also very fortunate to have international Japanese students from Lincoln High School, Darfield High School, Rolleston College and Ellesmere College helping us with the workshops. They will be sharing their origami skills and Japanese culture, making this a fun and meaningful cultural learning experience for everyone.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Sayoko Pettigrew.
