There are no weekly competitions for school athletics. There is a handful of events throughout the year learners can participate in.
New Zealand Secondary School Track and Field Championships: 5-7 December 2025, Hastings
Participants will be given a singlet to compete in and are required to wear navy shorts. You are welcome to bring your own spikes but this is not a requirement for participation.
There will be a cost for the above events however due to the nature of the sport, costs are dependent on numbers and will be confirmed closer to competition date.
Transport will be confirmed closer to the time and is dependent on numbers.
Rolleston College athletics records were established at the 2024 Selwyn schools athletics day.
Only performances where an athlete is representing the school (i.e., not club athletics, Colgate Games, etc.) are considered for school records.
If you find an error in the records, please send results to Miriam Jenkins for correction.
Junior athletes are under 16 years old on 31 December in the year of competition. Senior athletes are under 19 years old on 31 December in the year of competition.
