Groups of learners visited two dairy farms in Canterbury this week.
On Wednesday 14 May, six learners had the opportunity to visit a dairy farm in Hororata for a tour and chat about how a dairy farm operates.

On Thursday 14 May, 14 learners volunteered for a biodiversity planting day on a dairy farm. This involved planting many trees with New Zealand Landcare Trust to create a shelter belt that will be good for the land and bring wildlife back to the area.
